Our Story

At Contender Bicycles, located in Salt Lake City's eclectic 9th & 9th neighborhood, we aim to provide customers with a high level of service, expertise and selection. We want to make cycling as enjoyable and accessible as possible. While we have carved a niche as Utah's premier road shop, we enjoy catering to all cyclists and strive to be experts encompassing all the different facets of cycling. We hope to give you every advantage towards pursuing your cycling goals.

The Contender Bicycles staff not only has a high level of expertise about cycling, but we also have a passion for riding. Our staff consists of all types of riders and we are excited to share our cycling enthusiasm. We enjoy supporting the cycling community including everything from sponsoring our cycling club to supporting a variety of non-profit organizations and charity rides to teaching bicycle safety.
