It didn't hurt that it looked great and was probably built around some little Basque guy about my size. The Raven always looked like a fuel tank disguised as a bike frame. It definitely seems like the seatpost holders were an afterthought. Somebody at Trek decided that they should also go with the Y-frame look on both the road and mtb side. Lucky enough for them the UCI banned road bikes like that and, Lance jumped on the 5500 and won the TdF and the Y-Foil was foiled. Do you think Billy Idol ever wore a helmet?
