Rollers! Rollers! Rollers!

by , 9 February, 2011

Here’s a few chaps on rollers to wet your whistle.  The opening  ceremonies have commenced (I took a lap around 9th and 9th with the official roller race torch) and now it’s time to rock and roll.  I’ve seen some good trash talk on the blog and I want to see more.  People are lining up to give it their best shot.  So let me know when you’re coming down.

Who says you can’t wear sweatpants on rollers

Don’t watch this if you use a pacemaker!

And here’s one for all you snow bike fans out there.

Happy New Year’s Day 2010 from the Shoreline Trail

by alisonl, 1 January, 2010

We hit the Bonneville Shoreline Trail for our first ride of 2010 on a couple of Surly Pugsleys. Eric Scaife and I rode for about an hour and had a great time. Besides having a trauma surgeon as a riding partner, it seems extra safe as speeds are a bit slower and the snow is a nice cushion. Still, smooth pedaling is a must and braking is mainly for getting your bike to slide or skid. -Ryan
