Cannondale Road and Mountain Bikes (MTB)
Never one to let convention force their hands, Cannondale has been pushing the limits and expectations of bicycle design since it’s inception. Their Lefty shock (no the wheel will not break off, no the steer doesn’t pull to the left, yes it does offer some of the smoothest, most consistent travel on the market) is probably the most obvious example of this pursuit of innovation, but subtler examples can be found across their entire line. Instead of rushing out to offer an aero line of bikes, for example, Cannondale has taken what they have learned from the wind tunnel and real world testing to refine the design of the highly regarded SuperSix Evo. What resulted for all this effort is a bike that VeloNews called “the ideal example of what an all-around race bike should be:” lightweight for the long climb, confident in the corners for your next crit and with SAVE technology, developed for the endurance oriented Synapse line of bikes, more comfortable than ever. On the mountain biking side, 2016 has seen the release of Cannondale’s first 27.5” mountain bike, the Habit. A bike that, in our humble opinion, again exemplifies “the ideal example of what an all-around” bike should be, able to climb like a cross-country machine and descend like a trail bike.
