The return of the Alpe d'Huez, a long-overdue stage in the Pyrenees, and a throwback to the Roubaix cobbles means the Tour de France is back and better than ever. What's that mean for you? Contender's 2018 Tour de France fantasy pool is back with even more ways to win cool prizes. If you're not already familiar with our fantasy league-style, it's easy to understand and points will be on the line for every stage, and additional prizes awarded for certain stages. -Pick your squad of eight riders who you think will win stages and jerseys at the Tour. They can be anyone, from any team, background, or level of experience. -Pick your favorite team -Ask yourself, "Am I sure I want these people on my team? Do I really want Sagan on my team, AGAIN?" SIMPLY SUBMIT A COMMENT BELOW, WRITE "8 RIDER FANTASY TEAM" and then LIST YOUR 8 RIDERS and your FAVORITE TEAM! Here's a good example: 8 Rider Fantasy Team 1. Richie Porte 2. Domenico Pozzovivo 3. Vincenzo Nibali 4. Marcel Kittel 5. Alejandro Valverde 7. Tom Dumoulin 8. Peter Sagan 8. Rigoberto Uran Favorite Team - Lotto Soudal If a rider on your team wins the Yellow Jersey or is 2nd or 3rd overall, you will receive 9, 6, and 3 points respectively. If one of your riders wins the Green Sprinter’s Jersey you'll receive 4 points, and for the Polka Dot Climber’s Jersey you'll receive 6 points! Your choice of team will (like Lotto Soudal) receive 1 point for every stage won by that team. If one of your riders is unable to finish the Tour, you will lose 5 points. Best of all, we have great prize packages this year. The winners will be notified via email after Le Tour ends and points are tallied. We will also have prize drawings based on Stage 1 (Fontenay-le-Comte), Stage 9 (Roubaix), Stage 12 (Alpe d'Huez), and Stage 15 (Carcassonne).
