The 2020 Contender Bicycles Club Kit is Back and Better Than Ever

Spring is right around the corner, and that means that a new Contender Club Kit is here just in time for sunny skies and warmer temperatures. We've made a few changes to the club kit, all of which make our club kit some of the best-performing, most comfortable pieces of apparel at any price point. We are happy to pair with Vermarc this year for a majority of the 2020 Club kit to offer up some of the best cycling apparel we've found. The Vermarc PRR short sleeve was a popular choice last year for its breathability, flatlock stitching, and shorter collar. We found it perfect for long days in the saddle when you want all the ventilation you can get. New this year is a matching PRR Long Sleeve Jersey and PRR Wind Vest, made for cooler temperatures and imperfect weather. PRR pieces of apparel all have a race cut that feels best in the saddle, and these new additions are no exception. Also new for this year is the Contender Bicycles Aquazero Long Sleeve, which we find is a great choice not just for wet conditions, but is warm all the way to freezing temperatures without being bulky. Vermarc again makes an appearance with their PRR bib shorts and SPL shorts. We dig the PRR bibs as an all-day short that can be ridden over and over again. They feature flatlock seams all around, laser-cut bib straps and hems for a low-profile fit, and a slightly more compressive material to support weary leg muscles. Small changes, but they amount to a short that blows us away in regards to performance and overall quality. The SPL short ditches the suspenders and a bit of compression at the legs, but does a good job of staying in place no matter how long your ride is. Both the PRR bib shorts and SPL shorts are available in men's and women's options. Also available for 2020 is the Contender Bicycles Classic Jersey, Women’s Classic Jersey, and Long Sleeve Jersey, all of which use the same supplier as many of our other jerseys. Fit is more relaxed when compared to the Vermarc pieces. Mountain jerseys will be available later into the year. We feel that the 2020 Contender Bicycles Club Kits are our best offerings yet, both in performance and looks.
