The New OPEN U.P. ENVE Edition in Grey is All About Balance
ENVE Composites and OPEN Cycle aren't strangers to collaboration, having collaborated together on a unique frameset over a year ago. And while that frame featured a polarizing purple and orange colorway that evoked Southern Utah sunsets, it was a love it or hate it colorway that was anything but restrained. ENVE and OPEN Cycle have come together for a new OPEN U.P. ENVE Edition, and this one is all about restraint.
The new OPEN U.P. ENVE Edition in grey includes an OPEN NEW U.P. custom painted frameset, and a custom-painted ENVE road compact handlebar, stem, and seatpost. The OPEN U.P. ENVE Edition Frameset Package in grey is $3790.
Why grey? While the previous ENVE edition frameset took inspiration from a mountain range sunset in Moab, Utah, the new frameset takes inspiration from rugged winter mountain ranges that contrast snow white with dark grey hues that come from shadows and rock. Think of it as the winter foil to the summer themes of the previous bike, but one that exchanges undertones of royalty for the majesty of snow-capped high mountain ranges.
