Don’t know much about Kate Courtney? We have you covered.
You hear all the time that people ride bikes so they can eat what they want. As a kid, Kate Courtney was introduced to cycling by riding on the back of her dad’s tandem to get Sunday morning pancakes and later won the 2018 Elite XC World Championship at the age of 22. Needless to say Kate Courtney accomplished greatness at a young age. She followed up by most recently winning the 2019 overall XC World Cup exemplifying her strength and dedication to be the best and solidifying her as a favorite for the 2020 Tokyo Olympics. Courtney is the first American to win the World Cup overall in seventeen years.
Outside of cycling, Kate is a recent graduate from Stanford University with a Bachelor’s in Human Biology. Since graduating, Kate turned her focus fully to her career as a professional athlete.
