The 2018 Scott Spark RC 900 World Cup mountain bike is perhaps one of our most sought-after mountain bikes at Contender Bicycles. Since it’s introduction, we’ve brought in as many as we were able to whenever they were available only to see them sell out in short order. Demand is high, but it’s not just hype; one of the winningest cross country mountain bikes around is also one of the lightest and most fun to ride. You’ve asked for more, and even though they’re sold out, we have the Scott Spark RC 900 World Cup frameset in stock and ready to ship.
You read that right. We have the World Cup frameset, along with the paint-matched Rockshox SID RLC Air fork. The 2018 Spark RC World Cup uses the Scott HMX carbon frame and swingarm. To say that Scott and Nino Schurter don’t know what they’re doing would be blasphemous – and it’s obvious how much know-how they have from how the bike rides. The Scott RC World Cup seriously undercuts the competition on weight, but feels like every watt of power goes straight into forward momentum thanks to the Spark RC’s efficient swingarm design. It climbs like a crazed mountain goat, but it handles even more technical trails with surprising aplomb. While Nino Schurter appreciates the work done to keep the headtube nice and short, everyone will assuredly appreciate the slackened headtube, which keeps steering predictable and smooth – perfect for more technical cross-country courses.
The Scott Spark RC 900 World Cup frameset comes equipped with a 100mm Rockshox SID RLC Air fork and a Fox Nude rear shock. We’ve brought in as many framesets as we could; grab one while you still can.
