The Santa Cruz Nomad CC rides the line between a capable downhill bike that can still be completely adequate for all your all-mountain riding needs. The Nomad utilizes design features found on the Santa Cruz V10 downhill bike to help this bike remain entirely confident while tackling technical descents. Santa Cruz achieved this by using a lower-link mountain shock that translates small bump sensitivity very well. The Nomad can run both a standard rear coil shock in addition to lighter weight air shocks to suit any riders preference.
The Santa Cruz Nomad CC features a flip-chip to allow the linkage to be lowered to ride more like a downhill bike. Although Santa Cruz recommends to keep the bike in the “high” geometry setting for all around riding, riders can simply flip the chip to achieve a more aggressive position while riding downhill trails. In addition to the flip-chip, the Santa Cruz Nomad CC also features a longer wheel base to help maintain stability and confidence over nearly any terrain.
