Eight years ago, 800 lumens of light meant one of two things: you’re getting a bulky, fragile light, or that you spent a ton on a light that has no run time. Fast forward to today, and the not only is the Blackburn Dayblazer 800 front light powerful, lightweight, and durable, but it comes in at a very reasonable price. With a rear light, however? The Blackburn Dayblazer 800 Front and Dayblazer 65 Rear light set provide excellent value and power for the money with few drawbacks.
The Blackburn Dayblazer 800 headlight features Blackburns Total Internal Reflection lenses to focus the light beam, quality flood beam along the focused beam, and up to 270 degrees of total visibility. The Dayblazer 800 has a high beam of 800 lumens for 1.5 hrs, and up to 12 hours of runtime in it’s strobe mode. Blackburn Dayblazer 65 rear light offers up to three hours of battery life using it’s strobe setting at 65 lumens. Bright.
Both lights feature a BLITZ daytime running mode to make riders visible no matter what time of day, as well as included universal mounts to fit nearly any handlebar, helmet, and seatpost. These lights offer IP-67 waterproofing, leaving riders assured they have light even in heavy downpour.
