Giro may have designed the Giro DND (Down and Dirty) glove years ago, but it is a testament to the strength of minimalist design. With years of refinement and legions of riders professing its virtues, it was a no-brainer to use the Giro DND glove as the base to our newest Giro Contender Park City DND Gloves.
The Giro Contender Park City DND Gloves are the perfect companion to the Contender Map Short Sleeve Jersey or the Contender x Giro Roust MTB Men’s and Women’s Jerseys. It is built to be affordable and long-wearing, with a supple feel thanks to the three-panel Super Fit engineered AX Suede palm that eliminates excess material and bunching. It’s very light feeling, but does an admirable job of staying durable against repeated washes and spills off the mountain bike. The upper of the hand is similarly svelte, and features lightweight, four-way stretch material and flex zones at the knuckles.
The Giro Contender Park City DND Gloves is available in four sizes (S-XL). The PC and UTAH bits on the fingers might be there for an extra dose of style, but are made of silicon for better grip on the shifters, as well as touchscreen compatibility. “Park City” reads across the knuckles, perfect to rep PC on each and every dap.
