The Juliana Furtado C is named after the founder, meaning that this is built for her style of riding: aggressive trail riding from a cross country background. The Juliana Furtado trail bike is an ideal companion. This is thanks largely to it’s VPP suspension kinematics and 130mm travel front and rear. When it’s time to descend, the bike’s 67-degree head tube angle, and generous reach makes for precise and confident handling. The longer top tube (which allows for the use of a shorter stem), the new head angle and shorter chainstays are the main design attributes that keep the Furtado responsive, snappy, and confidence inspiring through technical terrain. The Furtado C uses their C grade entry level carbon fiber.
Based off of the Santa Cruz 5010 full suspension trail mountain bike, the Furtado is quick and nimble, and well-prepared for the kinds of trail riding found in Northern Utah, while never being overmatched in the big features of Southern Utah. 27.5” wheels make the bike nimble through rocky trails, but definitely don’t offer the roll over capability of a larger 29er wheel size. It features an extremely low standover clearance through the whole range of bikes, and additional travel doesn’t mean the bike feels any slower or more difficult to maneuver. To top off the bike’s build, the Furtado C uses women’s specific shock tuning, as well as women’s specific touch points.
Size small typically fits riders 5’2” to 5’7″.
Please note color and componentry on all demo bikes may vary. However componentry will be comparable to the manufacturer’s stock build.
Up to $500 in demo fees can be applied to the purchase of a new bike of similar value within 30 days of demo.
