There’s clear lineage to other long-travel bikes in the Santa Cruz portfolio. The 2019 Santa Cruz Megatower features a lower link-driven VPP suspension platform. Not unlike what’s found on the Santa Cruz Nomad, it gives the Megatower a linear suspension curve with just a hint of progressive ramping. Want something a bit more progressive? Use the flip chip; instead of simply changing head and seat tube angles, the chip instead adjusts the spring curve to make the rear end feel more progressive. In it’s lower setting, the spring curve is plusher off the top, and firmer at the middle and end of it’s travel. Other features include tubes that the internally-routed brake and derailleur lines pass through for simple installation, a removable downtube protector for shuttle days, a rear shock mudguard to deflect trail debris, and the typical Santa Cruz threaded bottom bracket for greater serviceability. The combination of swappable wheelbases, slack-but-not-slow head angle, and 29″ wheels portends a bike that plows through rock gardens, grips like crazy, and gets through an enduro course like few others.
Size extra extra large fits riders 6’3″ plus.
Please note color and componentry on all demo bikes may vary. However, componentry will be comparable to the manufacturer’s stock build.
Up to $500 in demo fees can be applied to the purchase of a new bike of similar value within 30 days of demo.
Rental Requirements – 48 Hour Cancellation Policy

Every rider is required to read and sign a waiver and sign off on safety instruction and orientation on the use of the equipment. A valid ID and credit card must be present at the time of pick up of the equipment. A photocopy of both will be made for a deposit on the equipment for cases such as theft, damage to the equipment, etc.
A saddle bag is included which contains a tube, multi-tool, and tire levers. A pump is attached to each bike. If a tube is used, the rider must pay replacement cost.
