Not content with “warm enough,” Velocio took key features and technology from their ES Jacket and created one of the warmest winter cycling jackets on the market. The key to staying warm as the temperature drops is trapping heat in and keeping the elements (rain and wind) out. The Velocio Zero HL Jacket begins on the outside, using the latest wind-proof and water-resistant fabric from Polartec – Polartec Power Shield Pro. Next, special insulation is added to key areas, such as the neck and arms. Velocio, again, worked with Polartec to select a fabric that offered warmth without compromising breathability or bulk. This time, Polartec Thermal Pro High Loft insulation was selected, and achieves an awesome level of warmth and comfort. With a light base layer, the Zero HL Jacket can be worn up to around 40 degrees, and with appropriate layering, about as cold as the rest of you can stand.
Velocio’s attention to detail shines through, with a 2-way YKK zipper, reflective logos and trim, and silicone grippers to keep the jacket in place. The Zero HL Jacket is offered in XS through 2XL, and comes in a classy Cyan color.
