Cervelo Aspero-5 Ekar

If the Cervelo Aspero is the fastest gravel bike on the market as Cervelo claims, then the Cervelo Aspero-5 is even faster, and the Cervelo Aspero-5 Ekar gravel bike is the fastest iteration yet. With its two-position Trail Mixer Flip Chip ability to run a 700 x 42mm tire, and wide range Campagnolo Ekar 1x13 speed drivetrain, the Aspero isn't just about going fast: it's about going faster than everyone else.

The faster you move the more you can see. Cervelo purposely configured the Aspero as a multifaceted boundary-breaking gravel bike. Built with the stiffness of a classics-racing bike, the Aspero leaps forward to conquer the terrain in front of it with ease. No longer inhibited by skinny blade-like tires, the Aspero is ready to devour a diet of crunchy gravel at an alarming pace.

Cervelo built a flip-chip into the fork of the Aspero to allow the geometry to remain consistent for times you’re swapping between 700c and 650b tires. This keeps the gravel bike quick and responsive whether you’re rolling with chunky traction tires or fast rolling racing slicks.

The Cervelo Aspero-5 Ekar features a Campagnolo Ekar 1x13 drivetrain, lightweight Fulcrum Rapid Red 300 wheels, and Panaracer Gravelking SK 38mm tires. Please note that while the Aspero-5 frame hides away the cable hoses, the Ekar build has the shift cable going into the downtube.
