Product Description

The Colnago Concept Frameset has been developed to be as fast as possible, and represents continuity with the original Colnago Concept project – the first carbon fiber frame, developed by Ernesto Colnago in collaboration with Enzo Ferrari in 1986. It is the combination of pure power and speed. Every detail has been studied to bring the aerodynamic performance to a higher level. Superb ride quality and efficiency transform this bike into a real weapon with which to fight your competitors! More than just all-out speed, the Concept Disc from Colnago, provides comfort and maintains its composure throughout your ride. Ready to dive in to turns, or attack the hill, you'll be sure to enjoy each moment.

With aerodynamics top of mind, Colnago concentrated their efforts on the front of the Concept- making the fork, headtube and handlebars as streamlined as possible, while still maintaining their ride-dampening qualities. Relying on their know-how from their Vr-1 fork blades and their proven aero-ability, Colnago increased space, accommodating up to 28mm tires. The head tube calls to Colnago's time trial bike- the k.zero- and incorporates a 1 1/4in to 1 1/8in tapered head tube to provide maximum frame stiffness and air flow. An ability to reduce drag and maintain comfort is no small feat, and Colnago accomplishes this by utilizing replaceable cups made from carbon composite and a special polymer in the headtube. The Concept's fork steerer tube also receives a special carbon layup to allow it to flex a little. With a compact rear triangle, you'll feel less drag and be able to easily PR on day 10 or day 10,000. Steering clear of new fads and concepts that over-complicate, the Colnago Concept Disc uses a reliable TheadFit 82.5 bottom bracket, giving you not only a frame that rides well, but is easily maintained and serviced as you mark off mile after mile.
