Moots Vamoots DR

They say that once you've ridden disc brakes you never go back. But riding the Moots Vamoots DR Frameset will take your belief to new levels. Built specifically for disc brakes, you'll find yourself cornering with speed and control on any surface - be it dirt, gravel or tarmac - riding with a confidence you never knew you had.

As with all Moots frames, it's constructed from bombproof titanium for a low build weight while maintaining optimal torsional stiffness for power. It's a material that's perfectly suited to coping with the extra kick back you get from disc brakes.

In order to use a tapered fork specific for disc brakes, the bike has a large, 44mm head tube. This size also allows for a large area for the oversized top tube and downtube to connect, making the front end of the bike extremely stiff and responsive. The seat tube was also increased while keeping a standard 27.2 seat post. The result is more stability in the saddle, for a more comfortable ride over varying surfaces.

At the rear, you'll find a newly designed road monostay. It can accommodate larger 28mm to 29mm sized tires while still acting as a firm foundation for the disc mount. At the rear axle are hooded dropouts with a full-circle weld for the chainstays for increased stiffness and power in all the right places.
