Rotor Uno Cassette
Rotor is a well-known name in the cycling industry. They’re vaunted for their ability to make lightweight, reliable chainrings, cranksets, and bottom brackets that feature thoughtful innovation with real-world results. Their prowess is two-fold, from their scientific testing to their supreme machining capabilities. Both come together to provide clear performance abilities that benefit riders, while being adjustable to nearly any bike or physical anatomy. They’ve extended this testing and capability to their new Rotor Uno Cassette, which promises engineering excellence without compromise.
Very simply, the Rotor Uno Cassette is 11 speed, has an 11-28t gear range, and is designed to work with Shimano and SRAM freehubs. A majority of the cassette is steel for durability, while the two largest cogs are 7075 aluminum to save weight. It features a one-piece design for light weight and overall strength. The surprising piece of this is the impressively low 135g weight quoted for the Rotor Uno 11-28 cassette. This is surprisingly lower than the SRAM Red XG-1190 cassette (151g, 11-25) and Dura Ace 9100 cassette (175g, 11-25). Even more impressive is that we’ve consistently weighed this cassette between 116-120g. While this is quite a feat for any company, Rotor have proven their ability to make feather-light drivetrain parts without compromising on durability and strength.
The Rotor Uno Cassette is available in an 11-28t range, and retails at $349. Supply of this cassette is extremely limited in the United States, and we are happy to carry this cassette. Give us a call during shop hours, or shoot us an email anytime to email@example.com for any additional questions.
