Whatever the trail tosses you, the 2022 SCOTT Genius 940 has a plan. Regardless of whether you’re ascending or descending, the Genius has one speed - warp speed. With SCOTT’s proprietary TwinLoc triple-mode suspension system, let the Genius do some thinking for you to keep you well adapted and efficient while having a blast.

SCOTT gets it. You dig the uphill and the downhill because you know that you can’t have one without the other. That’s why they designed the Genius specifically in search of balance. Compared to previous iterations, the current Genius is slacker, has longer reach, shorter chainstays, and a steeper seat angle. SCOTT was after geometry figures that balance power on the uphills and a longer front end for more stable descending; they struck gold. The Genius 940 up ascent, and descends faster than if you threw it. Okay, maybe not quite that fast, but you get the point.

The TwinLoc suspension system was implemented in this mountain machine in order to provide the ideal trail experience for every type of rider and terrain. Lockout suspension with the flick of a switch to dominate the climbs, enter a supportive suspension for rolling terrain, and experience full suspension for the descents. This triple setting suspension system alone sets the SCOTT Genius 940 out as a state of the art mountain annihilating weapon.

SCOTT is all about flexibility and versatility which is why the Genius 940 frame is able to fit both 27.5” and 29” wheels. Flip a chip on the shock mount when moving between wheel sizes and you’re ready to rumble down the trail. This chip allows the bike to maintain a similar BB height while switching wheel sizes to keep handling familiar. We love the simplicity of this feature because it means that you don’t have to change forks when changing wheels - saving you both time and money.
