2022 SCOTT Patron eRide 900 Tuned

A new standard for integration, the SCOTT Patron eRide 900 Tuned is Scott's vision for the ultimate e-mountain bike. This bike is a tank, quite literally. On the heavier side but with a low center of gravity it handles incredibly well. And it gets you back up with its powerful motor and battery combo. This is not an e-bike to be messed with. 

First thing first, where's the shock? It's integrated into the top tube, out of sight and out of harm's way. The 160mm travel means it can take a beating on the descents. It comes with TwinLoc technology to lock it out from your handlebar for improved pedaling efficiency. Even when not locked out, it sits high in the travel for more comfortable climbing. Putting the shock in the frame also allowed more space for the motor, battery, and water bottle. A flap on the bottom of the tube grants access to all necessary adjustments including setting sag.

The Patron eRide comes with the latest technology from Bosch. The new 750Wh battery and its 20% additional capacity set a new standard. Scott managed to fit the largest battery available without impacting tube proportions, offering sizes from small to Xlarge. Ride up to 2000m of elevation on eco mode or half that on turbo mode. 

The Bosch motor has 85Nm and up to 340% assistance with new software that provides a natural feel. It's vertically mounted and cradled in the frame to support it from underneath. With the top of the motor more open, the air rushing by is able to cool it off more efficiently. 

The Patron eRide has a LOT going on with the handlebars. With many levers and buttons come many cables and wires. Luckily these are internally routed directly into the handlebar, keeping things clean and organized. 

 Something a bit different for an e-mountain bike is integrated LED lights in the rear fender. On top of that, a cable is already routed, and a plug already mounted on the handlebar for a front light. A range of Syncros accessories are available such as a kickstand, a rear fender, a rear rack or an action camera mount.​

With 160mm of travel front and rear, this can be considered an enduro or trail bike on the downhills and feels closer to a cross-country bike on the climbs with the dual suspension lockout. The 2022 Scott Patron eRide 900 Tuned is a tank, in the best way possible.
