The OT-SP41 housing is pre-lubricated with silicone grease which helps the cable be rust resistant. The Shimano/Sram end caps are sealed to help eliminate dirt from getting inside and slowing down your shifting. The cable diameter is 1.2mm thick, the housing is black and measures 4mm in diameter.
