Striking is the first thing that comes to mind with just about any Pinarello bicycle, be it for road, cyclocross, or gravel. Few bikes receive the attention that a Pinarello bike receives, whether you want it or not. Even the Italian brand’s dirt-centric bike, the Pinarello Grevil gravel bike, combines their quintessential striking looks with all-road capability. And for those on the fence as to whether they want a Grevil or not, we present our best offer yet, with a range of Pinarello Grevil Ultegra Di2 gravel bikes on sale while supplies last.
What is the Pinarello Grevil, and why could it be the gravel bike for you? Well, part of it comes down to versatility. Any of the best gravel bikes will fit a 700 x 40c tire, and the Grevil does just that by fitting a 700 x 42c gravel tire with room to spare. What gives the bike its sporting character, however, is the stock 650b wheelset it comes with. 42 mm wide tires give the bike plenty of grip but lower rotational mass and a zippy ride quality that makes you want to push the bike faster. At the same time, the bike feels right at home on a road bike group ride, and with narrower tires doesn’t feel far off from something like a Pinarello Prince.
Another reason to consider the Pinarello Grevil as your next gravel bike comes down to the Pinarello DNA it carries. Its overall profile doesn’t look dissimilar to its road-centric siblings. The Onda fork with its Forkflaps aimed at improving aerodynamics at the brake caliper, though the caliper side is larger to protect the brake from rocks. The fork itself is asymmetric, as is the rear triangle, partially for stiffness where it’s needed, but also to clear the wider tires necessary for a gravel bike. Like the Prince and Dogma F12, the Grevil uses truncated aerofoils on the downtube and headtube, as well as an aero seatpost shared with the Dogma K10. It is undeniably a Pinarello, just a bit pumped up for the demands of gravel and singletrack riding.
It is not often that Pinarello frames go on sale, but we have a range of Pinarello’s gravel bike with Shimano Di2 electronic shifting at an unbeatable price.
