SCOTT Contessa Women’s Bikes
SCOTT Contessa consists of an array of road bikes, mountain bikes, gravel bikes, and more that share the same refined geometry and features as the standard bikes. The changes come in the form of women’s specific touchpoints including handlebars, saddles, and grips. Additionally, all Contessa models receive unique paint schemes that set them apart from the pack.
There are myriad changes to the Contessa line this year, including all-new models and updates to existing models. Updates are detailed below:
SCOTT Contessa Spark RC 900 World Cup
Its name might be a mouthful but this bike is sure to leave you grinning from ear to ear. The biggest update to the 2021 SCOTT Contessa Spark RC 900 World Cup is the addition of the new 110mm Rockshox SID Select+ fork with 110mm suspension travel for improved steering stability and stiffness. Choose this women’s cross country mountain bike for the ultimate in low weight and climbing ability thanks to an ultralight carbon frame, carbon wheels, integrated carbon bar and stem, and unique color-shifting paint.
SCOTT Contessa Spark RC 900 Comp
If the Spark RC 900 SL and the World Cup are the dream bikes, the 2021 SCOTT Contessa Spark RC 900 Comp is the one that brings their performance to the masses. It uses a full carbon frame and swingarm, and pairs it to a SRAM NX Eagle drivetrain. It features a Fox 32 Rhythm fork with 110mm travel, more than enough for a lightweight ride like the Contessa Spark RC Comp.
SRAM GX Eagle has become a mainstay in the mountain bike world for its ease of use, ergonomic controls, and general performance. The 2021 SCOTT Contessa Spark 910 utilizes a SRAM GX Eagle drivetrain with it’s new 10-52t cassette and pairs it to a HMF carbon frame, Fox 34 Performance 130mm fork, and Syncros components. 2021 sees a larger 130mm fork for greater control on the descents. Being a SCOTT Contessa, this women’s mountain bike receives a women’s specific handlebar, grips, saddle, suspension tune, and paint scheme.
SCOTT Contessa Spark 920
The 2021 SCOTT Contessa Spark 920 features a carbon frame and a SRAM NX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain providing all sorts of high performance experience but comes with a price tag that will leave you with plenty left a cycling vacation or race fees. An included Syncros Duncan dropper post mixes up the feel of the bike during climbs or descents when you need your weight shifted on the bike for optimal traction.
SCOTT Contessa Spark 930
The 2021 SCOTT Contessa Spark 930 features the new Shimano Deore 12sp drivetrain with a Deore XT rear derailleur for reliable performance on the trail. It uses a lightweight alloy frame, a new 130mm Rockshox Judy TK Solo fork, and an X-Fusion NUDE shock. Paired to SCOTT’s Twinloc remote, the this women’s trail bike allows you to tune the bike according to your trail.
SCOTT Contessa Addict 15 Disc
Disc brakes, a carbon frame, and a reliable Shimano 105 drivetrain set the 2021 SCOTT Contessa Addict 15 Disc apart. The 2021 Contessa Addict adds in a women’s specific saddle and handlebars, making it easy to find a bike that not only rides well but also looks great while you’re out and about.
SCOTT Contessa Addict Gravel 15
The 2021 SCOTT Contessa Addict Gravel 15 utilizes a lightweight HMF carbon frame, Syncros components, and a Shimano GRX 11-speed drivetrain. New for the model year is a revised paint scheme, meaning you still get plenty of clearance for a 40c tire, smooth handling, and quick acceleration, alongside women’s specific paint, saddle, and handlebars.
