If you’re interested in improving your basic bike maintenance skills, please join us for two fun nights covering the basic maintenance skills needed out on the road and trail. This Monday, August 13th, and Monday, August 27th, learn from Contender mechanics and Erica Tingey on how to show your bike the love it deserves. Plus have a little extra fun with a pop-up shop from The Chicks Company featuring a range of women’s cycling apparel and locally roasted coffee. Everyone and anyone is welcome to join to learn essential bike repair and answer questions in an open environment. The Monday, August 13th clinic will focus on fixing flats and emergency tire repair on the road and mountain bike. Monday, August 27th will cover braking and shifting adjustment. Join us for one or the other or both! Our maintenance evenings will be at our Park City location, with clinics going from 6-7 pm both evenings. The openness of our Park City service area makes for an excellent classroom in a more intimate environment than our Salt Lake City store. Please join us!

One of the best parts of cycling is the relationship one might develop with their bicycle. From destination to destination, summit to summit, there is a unique symbiosis that happens between person and bicycle unlike that of any other machine. When it comes time to perform routine maintenance, who doesn’t want to make sure the thing that’s given so much receives a little bit of care?
Don’t know Erica Tingey? Here’s some info, direct from her Women in the Mountains website:
