What If Taylor Swift were to ride an Oiz Myo?

If Taylor Swift Were To Design An Orbea Oiz

Written by Contender Bicycles, on December 07, 2023

One of the best things about the Orbea custom paint program is the ability to let your style show through. Your bike can indeed say something about you, especially when you're at the helm of the colorway and design. This round of Beautiful Bicycle features just such a bike, a sharp looking Orbea Oiz M-Pro custom spec'd and colored in red and gold.

Now while we can't be absolutely certain of the actual intent, we also can't help but notice a couple fun themes not so subtly hidden in the finished product. One staff member noted a distinct and super cool "Iron Man" motif, and commented that this high-end Oiz would fit right in with Tony Stark's collection of rad rides. Perhaps a hotter take on this design is "If Taylor Swift designed a custom Oiz, would this be it??" Due to his stature, one might assume that while Travis Kelce might opt for an Orbea Rallon or Wild, either party would certainly spec the Pure Red/Metallic Golden Sand paint scheme, right? We'd like to think so. Either way, this is one beautifully done Oiz!

The M-Pro build matches the bold color scheme with a level of solid performance and practicality that we feel Taylor would appreciate (Tony Stark would undoubtedly max out the tech factor on his build, but we digress). A mechanically actuated Shimano XT/XTR drivetrain is paired up with Orbea's Oquo Mountain Performance MP30TEAM carbon wheelset, and the bike is dampened by a FOX Factory suspension setup.

An Orbea OC Mountain Performance carbon handlebar and alloy stem steer things straight, while Shimano XT M8100 brakes keep things under control. The dropper post was upgraded to the FOX Transfer Factory model, matching the Kashima coated fork and shock and nicely complimenting the gold aspects in the paint job.

This Beautiful Bicycle lives local, but it's got an appeal that would resonate from L.A. to K.C., and everywhere in between. Do you have a favorite color combo you'd like to see on your next bike? If you do, the custom paint program might just be able to make it happen. Give us a call, swing by the shop or reach out on the chat, we'd love to discuss your dream bike!
