This exclusive Contender Custom build pairs ENVE’s race-focused Melee platform with premium components for a complete package that prioritizes efficiency, integration, and uncompromising speed.
Built on ENVE's Material Optimized Design (M.O.D.) carbon frame and fork, the Melee benefits from decades of carbon fiber expertise. Continuous fibers run throughout the chassis with tapered laminates and excess material removed to save weight. Each carbon layer is meticulously oriented to achieve zone-specific performance requirements—delivering an ideal balance of impact toughness, stiffness, and compliance. Developed in CFD and validated in the wind tunnel, the refined tube shapes are tuned to complement ENVE's SES rim profiles for Real-World Fast aerodynamic performance.
This Contender Custom build elevates performance with SRAM Force wireless electronic shifting and an integrated power meter, delivering precise, reliable shifting and valuable training data in a clean, cable-free package. Paired with ENVE AR40 carbon wheels, the build provides exceptional aerodynamic efficiency and all-around speed, seamlessly integrating with the Melee’s tube shaping for optimized airflow and performance across varied terrain.
The Integrated Front-End routes hoses cleanly through the bar, stem, and headset, secured using ENVE’s anti-rattle finishing kit to keep everything silent, streamlined, and out of the wind. Featuring the two-piece Integrated Aero Stem (-7°) and SES AR Handlebar, the cockpit maximizes aerodynamic benefit while preserving fit adjustability. The threaded T47 inboard-bearing bottom bracket ensures smooth, silent, creak-free operation ride after ride.
