Return Policy

Contender Bicycles accepts returns on any unused items in their original packaging with all tags attached if received by us within 30 days from the original shipping date. Any items returned that have been installed, used or damaged will not be accepted. Bicycles, batteries, trainers and car racks are non-returnable. If you have an issue with a shipped bike, please contact that bike manufacturer regarding warranty information.

RETURNS

To return an item, please follow these steps:

  • Repackage the item(s) you are returning with all original tags, packing labels and packaging.
  • Insure your package and obtain a tracking number from the shipping company.

 Email returns@contenderbicycles.com and include the following information:

  • Tracking number for your return package
  • Contender Bicycles Order Number
  • Specify reason for return

Buyer is responsible to pay for return shipping. Shipping charges will only be refunded in full on items shipped in error by Contender Bicycles.

All refunds will be applied to the original purchaser's credit card once the returned item has been inspected by Contender Bicycles to insure that it is unused, uninstalled and in original new condition along with the retail packaging. Refund notification will then be made via email. Refunds may take up to 10 days to process following receipt of returned items.

All merchandise sold by Contender Bicycles carries the full and original manufacturer's warranty. All warranty items must be inspected by Contender Bicycles and/or the item's manufacturer to ensure that they are covered under the manufacturer's warranty.

EXCHANGES

We get it. Sometimes you order something online and it’s not quite what you were hoping for. Instead of offering exchanges on returned items, Contender Bicycles  issues refunds on qualifying items and you can then order the new item as part of a new transaction.

IN-STORE PICKUP

Internet purchases with in-store pickup will be held for ten days. If items are not picked up within ten days a refund will be issued minus a 10 percent restocking fee.
