The fifth-generation BMC Teammachine SLR 01 takes everything that made this platform legendary and pushes it further. Designed specifically for mountain stages and high-elevation racing, this all-new frame blends low weight, aerodynamic shaping, and race-tuned handling into one complete package.
Now 16% lighter than the previous version, the updated frame saves 222 grams through optimized carbon layup, reduced paint mass, and streamlined tube profiles—all without compromising stiffness. That means explosive acceleration, responsive handling, and efficient power transfer when it matters most.
Inspired by the aero-focused Teammachine R 01, the new SLR 01 incorporates a refined fork, slimmer seatpost, and reduced frontal area to improve aerodynamic efficiency. Clearance for 32mm measured tires adds versatility for today’s varied race conditions and surfaces.
BMC’s Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC) and the updated Aero Shape seatpost deliver a balanced ride feel by absorbing road vibrations without dulling responsiveness. Combined with proven geometry, this frameset handles with precision whether climbing steep switchbacks or descending at speed.
