Product Details
The all-new, fifth-generation BMC Teammachine SLR 01 TWO redefines what it means to be a climbing bike. Purpose-built for the mountains, this fifth-generation frameset combines BMC’s iconic race pedigree with cutting-edge engineering to deliver a lightweight, aerodynamic, and ultra-responsive ride tuned for modern high-elevation racing.
At 16 percent lighter than its predecessor, the new Teammachine SLR 01 maintains its class-leading stiffness while shedding every unnecessary gram. Advanced tube shaping, refined carbon layup, and minimalist paintwork contribute to a total frameset weight reduction of 222 grams, all while preserving power transfer and handling precision.
Drawing aerodynamic insights from the Teammachine R 01, the SLR 01 features a reduced frontal profile, a re-engineered fork, and an optimized seatpost design that enhance efficiency at altitude. With clearance for up to 32mm measured tires, it is race-ready across varied terrain.
From the summit to the sprint, the Teammachine SLR 01 is tuned for elite-level performance. BMC’s Tuned Compliance Concept (TCC) and a newly designed Aero Shape seatpost smooth out road vibrations while preserving road feel to help riders stay fresher for longer. The aggressive geometry delivers sharp handling, making it just as capable on technical descents as it is on steep climbs.
The fully integrated ICS cockpit, internal cable routing, and aerodynamic profile combine clean aesthetics with maximum efficiency. Developed through extensive CFD analysis, wind tunnel testing, and Impec Lab research, the SLR 01 represents BMC’s ongoing commitment to innovation and race-focused design.
