From initial concept sketches in the office to prototype testing on the World Cup circuit, where Jackson rode them to victory, these grips reflect authentic rider input and proven race performance at the highest level of mountain biking competition.

The grips feature an oversized outer flange with a distinctive ramped shape specifically requested by Jackson to provide something substantial to push into during aggressive cornering. This large bar end prevents hands from slipping off the grip's edge during hard efforts or technical sections, delivering the security necessary for confident riding when consequences are high and control is critical.

A raised palm pad provides added comfort and improved ergonomics while maintaining the grip's otherwise slim profile. This thoughtful design element offers cushioning where riders need it most without creating the bulk common with heavily padded grips. The palm pad works in concert with the outer flange and finger ridges to create a powerful, locked-in feel that keeps hands positioned correctly without conscious effort or grip fatigue.

Finger ridges on the grip's underside deliver serious traction and control, angled inward to promote an aggressive, elbows-out riding position that naturally fits the hands. The knurled grip body enhances traction across the entire contact surface, while a core cutout under the thumb allows rubber to run straight to the bar for added comfort and vibration damping, reducing hand fatigue during extended descents or rough trail sections.

Dual durometer construction combines a tacky 20A grip body for maximum traction with a durable 45A outer flange that resists wear and maintains its shape under demanding use. The single inner clamp simplifies installation and reduces weight while providing secure attachment. At 107 grams for the 140mm length with 30mm diameter, the Goldstone Grips balance lightweight performance with the durability required for aggressive trail and downhill riding.
