The Campagnolo 1x Ekar system's crankset is the central component, offering optimized gearing ratios across a wide range. It simplifies the setup with a single chainring, eliminating the need for a front mech, reducing weight, minimizing dirt accumulation, and ensuring high chain security without wasteful gear overlap, making it ideal for gravel riding and racing. The crankset features unidirectional carbon fiber cranks with a strong, durable steel alloy crank axle. ProTech™ technology joins the semi-axles inside the bottom bracket using a single oversized bolt, while oversized stainless steel bearings provide smoothness and strength. The crankset offers four ring size options (38T, 40T, 42T, and 44T) with a narrow-wide design for efficient drive and chain security. The lightweight aluminum rings are easily interchangeable without disassembling the crank. The four asymmetrically set spider arms with a 123mm Bolt Circle Diameter ensure optimal torque distribution. The crankset is available in four arm length options (165mm, 170mm, 172.5mm, and 175mm) to accommodate riders of all sizes and preferences. A narrow Q-factor of 145.5mm promotes comfortable and efficient pedaling, and removable protective end caps maintain the crankset's appearance even in challenging terrains.
