The geometry is where this XC bike really stands out from the crowd. A 66.5˚ head angle is pushing boundaries in the cross-country world. And the bottom bracket height has been lowered by 9mm from the previous version to improve stability on the descents. Increasingly technical courses call for more capable bikes, and BMC is rising to the challenge. The seat angle sits at 75.6˚, making for great pedaling efficiency. 

Traction is the name of the game when it comes to faster times. The updated APS Suspension System has next-level kinematics and best-in-clash suspension performance. Small bump sensitivity is improved, giving you the upper hand on rough and loose climbs. A decreasing anti-squat curve also helps with added traction.

BMC put thought into all the details with the Fourstroke. Now two 21oz bottles can fit on the top side of the downtube. A bump stop is added to prevent the fork from smashing into the frame. And fully-guided cable routing goes through the front triangle, lower link, into the rear triangle, and to the brake caliper or derailleur.
