Building on three core characteristics of exceptionally light weight, perfectly balanced ride characteristics and undeniable style, the Aethos features a classic look, but has subtly  reinvented the traditional shape of road bikes of the past. 

The Aethos slots in as the perfect bike for everything from accelerating up steep pitches and descending technical descents, to all-day epics. By building off of proven and established road bike shapes, Specialized has subtly altered these shapes to deliver massive gains in stiffness and balance, all without affecting weight or durability. Using an entirely new layup and process perfected over multiple decades, the Aethos provides an incredible platform and is one of the lightest road frames out there. Every aspect of the design was considered, to deliver the perfect ride.
