Giro Manifest Spherical Helmet

The Giro Manifest Spherical Helmet combines the latest in helmet safety technology with excellent ventilation and lightweight construction for serious trail riders. The key to this helmet's performance is Spherical technology, which uses a ball-and-socket design powered by MIPS technology. Instead of a separate plastic slip plane inside the foam like most MIPS systems, Spherical features two layers of foam joined by elastomers that work together for better protection.

The outer layer uses higher density EPS foam for high-speed impacts, while the inner layer has softer foam to handle low-speed hits. The separate layers let the top layer move independently from the layer closest to your head, making for plenty of improvements over other MIPS-equipped helmets.

To make all of this work, Giro uses a polycarbonate reinforcing arch called AURA that wraps through the center of the helmet. It provides strength while allowing for excellent ventilation, with multiple air channels inside that promote airflow over your head. Giro claims the Manifest helmet is seven percent cooler than the Montaro MIPS and nearly as well-ventilated as their road-focused Aether helmet.

The helmet includes a FidLock magnetic chin buckle for easy one-handed operation, an adjustable moto-style visor that moves in indexed steps, and a micro-adjustable Roc Loc Trail Air fit system. You'll find integrated grippers for sunglasses, a rubber strip on the back to keep goggles secure, and antimicrobial XT2 padding for excellent sweat absorption. Hidden reflective details add visibility without disrupting the clean design.
