Using advanced FEA optimization and obsessive gram-saving design, Specialized reduced weight without sacrificing stiffness, resulting in explosive power transfer and precise handling. The updated suspension system features 120mm of front and rear travel with 11% less friction and refined kinematics, delivering a ride that is both more efficient under power and more composed through rough terrain.
The Epic 9’s Dynamic Trio suspension damping, Wide Open, Magic Middle, and Sprint-On Lock—allows riders to adapt instantly to changing terrain, balancing traction, efficiency, and maximum speed.
