Frequently Asked Questions

How long does it take to ship my bike?

Shipping time for complete bike orders depends on bike availability at the time of purchase. If the bike is physically in stock when your order is placed, we do our best to have it assembled, prepared, and shipped within one week.

Do you ship internationally?

We do not currently ship complete bikes internationally.

For destinations outside the continental U.S., including Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico, shipping may be available on a case-by-case basis and will require additional shipping charges.

What if something arrives damaged?

If your bike arrives damaged, please contact us right away at 801-364-0344 or info@contenderbicycles.com so we can help start the claims process. Be sure to keep the bike box and all original packaging, and do not ride the bike, as both are required for a shipping claim. To help speed things up, we recommend sending photos of the damage along with photos of the box and packaging when you reach out.

Can I request specific setup preference?

Yes. We are happy to accommodate setup preferences whenever possible. Let us know if you have fit-related requests or would like to discuss component changes, such as bars, grips, or saddle swaps. Upgrade requests are available at an additional cost based on the parts selected.

How assembled does the bike come in the box?

Your new bike will arrive mostly assembled and will only require a few final steps, such as installing the front wheel and attaching the handlebars. To help with setup, we provide both a video and a written New Bicycle Assembly Guide that is easy to follow.

Can I return or exchange my bike?

We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you need to return or exchange a bike, please refer to our Return Policy page for full details. Please note that all complete bicycles and frames are subject to a restocking fee, and return shipping is not covered by Contender.

Why does my bike shipment require a signature?

Complete bike shipments are insured for a high value, which is why a signature is required at delivery. Because of that insurance coverage, there may also be limits on changes once the package is in transit, including delivery redirects or other adjustments requested through the carrier. We are not able to remove the signature requirement or ship a complete bike without insurance.
