Product Description
The SCOTT Ransom 400 was constructed to turn childhood dreams of flight and speed into reality. With 24” inch wheels, a kid-tuned long travel fork (140mm) and shock (130mm) in combination with a flip chip, the Ransom can grow, or shrink, to run 26” or 24” inch wheels.
One long travel enduro bike to rule them all! With 140mm smooth suspension travel front and rear in unison, you can point the SCOTT Ransom 400 down the mountain and let it eat up whatever lies below. With the strongest carbon construction to date and kid-specific geometry, once aboard the Ransom 400 you can reap the rewards of partaking in what was previously coded as risky behavior.
SCOTT is about flexibility and versatility which is why the Ransom 400 frame is able to fit both 24” and 26” wheels. Flip a chip on the shock mount when moving between wheel sizes and you’re ready to rumble down the trail. We love the simplicity of this feature because it means that you don’t have to change forks which saves you time and money.
When you’re on the hunt for the best dirt on the mountain there is always some climbing involved. On the uphills you’ll come to appreciate the Ransom 400’s low weight. The bike comes in at a shocking 13.60kg, a benchmark for the industry. However, do not fear, the lack of weight doesn't have a negative impact on the bike's sturdiness. SCOTT utilized their clever carbon layups for strategic reinforcement in key areas. Enduro frames need to be ready for the worst and the SCOTT Ransom 400 is prepared to take a beating.
