This advanced construction improves heat management, reduces rotor deformation under heavy braking, and helps maintain consistent stopping power on long descents.
The three-layer rotor blade combines stainless steel and aluminum to dissipate heat more efficiently than standard steel rotors, reducing brake fade and extending pad life. Shimano’s optimized 3D alloy carrier also minimizes vibration and rubbing noise, creating a quieter ride with smoother brake feel.
