Beautiful Bicycle: Mondraker F-Podium Unlimited
Towards the end of last year, SRAM released a Special Edition X0 Transmission Groupset commemorating their history, dubbed the 1987. Available in a batch of 1,987 groupsets, these were a one-and-done. These silver groupsets match perfectly with the iridescent colorway on the new Mondraker F-Podium RR SL frameset, the silver groupset and iridescent frame were such a natural match that building the bike was an easy call.

Frame Detail
When this customer saw the latest Mondraker F-Podium colorway, he knew that he had to get his hands on the groupset to get his cross-country bike rolling. The Iridium frameset looks silver from afar, but starts to shimmer as you look closely, bringing out a rainbow undertone in the frame.

Drivetrain
The all-silver SRAM X0 Transmission Groupset was designed with performance at the forefront. The ultra-light cassette drops 25g from its XX SL counterpart without sacrificing durability or weight. SRAM’s X0 alloy cranks are left raw to save some grams and give them their striking silver finish, which pairs perfectly with the silver XX SL chainring mounted on their flagship power meter. The groupset even comes with two chainrings, giving riders day-of options for what gear they want to push.
The only non-SRAM part on this build is the XTR M9220 4-piston brakes. Offering incredible stopping power with a consistent feel, these brakes give confidence to push on the descents, as they stop firmly and quickly.

Suspension
Tying in perfectly with the SRAM ecosystem, the RockShox Flight Attendant SID Ultimate fork and SIDLuxe Ultimate rear shock offer peak cross-country performance. Automatically adjusting for the terrain, grade, and power, they keep the rider focused on the ride. The latest RockShox Reverb AXS seatpost ties the build together, keeping the bars clear of cables and perfectly symmetrical.

Wheels & Tires
Connecting the bike to the trail, this wheelset turns the bike into a true downcountry rig. Schwalbe Wicked Will tires are mounted on Reserve 28 XC wheels, pairing trail bike grip with a lightweight yet durable rim set. Finished off with DT Swiss 180 hubs, the CeramicSync bearings keep the bike rolling quickly.

Cockpit & Contact Points
Continuing the clean integrated look, Mondraker’s own OnOff cockpit matches the fit and provides a seamless transition from frame to handlebar. Deity Supercush grips provide maximum comfort while keeping your hands firmly in place. Lastly, a Specialized Power Mirror saddle keeps the rider happy for long days in the saddle.
