The Build

The customer decided to go with the Rallon E-Team and leave it stock besides the custom paint. This build comes with a full Shimano XT kit, from brakes to drivetrain. The recently released 4-piston Shimano XT 8220 brakes offer immense stopping power, making them a strong fit for a bike designed to charge down the trail with control. The mechanical XT drivetrain continues to be an industry standard for reliability, offering consistent shifting even when conditions get muddy and unpredictable.

The Rallon is built around enduro and downhill performance, sparing nothing in its drive to handle the gnarliest trails. Even with the bright custom paint, do not underestimate the capability of this bike. It is built to charge through rough descents and downhill race tracks with confidence.

The MyO Process

When you visit Orbea’s site, one of the selections at the top is the customization tab, allowing you to choose from eligible models and configure them to your dream standard. As is the nature of custom paint, this customization does extend the lead time, but for those willing to wait, it turns the bike into a canvas for the rider’s personality.

Each Orbea customization is slightly different, but the process allows riders to select two main bike colors along with logo accent colors. This makes each bike unique and allows the rider to add personal touches throughout the build. For each bike model, Orbea also allows you to exchange select parts, and in the case of the Rallon specifically, you can choose chainstay length, enduro or downhill linkages, and even add frame weights to help tune the bike’s descending feel. This level of customization is offered at just the difference in component pricing, with no added labor charge or personalization premium.
