Beautiful Bicycle: Pinarello Dogma F
Back in black. I hit the sack. I’ve been (gone) too long, I’m glad to be back.
While the Pinarello Dogma F hasn’t gone anywhere, firmly maintaining its perch as the most elite of race bikes, this particular iteration—draped in a 1–2 punch of stealth matte and gloss black—channels the same swagger and restrained menace as the AC/DC classic. Confident, composed, and ready to be let loose (from the noose) on every road and rider in its sights.
For our latest Beautiful Bicycle, this Dogma F pairs an understated aesthetic and dark intentions with a build kit that mirrors the frame’s philosophy. SRAM Red delivers crisp, intuitive performance without theatrics, while ENVE SES 4.5 Pro wheels strike a rare balance between aerodynamic efficiency and real-world composure. Each component is chosen not to stand out, but to work in concert—dripping with quiet authority.
The result is a best of the best race bike that doesn’t need to announce itself. It simply does what it was built to do—go fast, feel precise, and disappear beneath the rider when the pace turns serious.
Let’s unpack this beast of a rig, and sidenote: totally fine by us if you headbang to AC/DC while we do so. DUN. DUN DUN DUNNNN.

Frame: The Benchmark, Refined
The Dogma F remains the measuring stick for modern race bikes, blending low weight, aerodynamic shaping, and unmistakable Pinarello handling. In this all-black execution, the frame’s sculpted tube shapes and asymmetrical design are allowed to speak for themselves. There’s nowhere to hide—and nothing to hide behind. It’s pure intent, expressed in carbon.

Drivetrain: Precision Without Drama
SRAM Red brings a premium, sharp, and tactile feel to the build, with lightning fast shifting and stop on a dime braking that fades into the background when everything is working right. Paired with a wide-range 10–36t cassette and 46/33t chainrings, the gearing balances top-end speed with real-world versatility; fast on the flats, but composed and capable when the road tilts up.

Wheels & Tires: Speed, Composure, Control
ENVE SES 4.5 Pro wheels are a natural fit on this Dogma F: deep enough to deliver meaningful aero gains, yet stable and predictable across changing conditions. Wrapped in ENVE’s 31mm SES tubeless tires, the setup prioritizes confidence and efficiency over extremes—smooth, fast, and reassuring when speeds climb.

Cockpit: Clean Lines, Sharp Handling
Up front, the MOST Talon Ultra Fast cockpit reinforces the bike’s stealth ethos. Fully integrated, stiff where it counts, and ergonomically dialed, it delivers precise steering inputs while keeping the front end visually calm. ENVE bar tape adds just enough cushion without dulling feedback and data from the road.

Saddle & Seatpost: Finishing Touches That Matter
Rounding out the build is a Selle Italia SLR Boost Kit Carbonio Superflow saddle—light, supportive, and designed for long efforts at high intensity. It’s the final reminder that even on a no-nonsense race bike, comfort and fit are performance features, not afterthoughts.
