Ernie's Best Builds: Orbea Katu-E 10

Ernie the corgi is known around these parts for his discerning taste in bicycles. This year, we wanted to highlight some of his favorite bike builds. Link to the complete list found HERE. Day seven of Ernie's Best Builds goes to the Orbea Katu-E 10. This Orbea features a Bosch Performance CX motor provides tons of torque, a 500 Watt-hour Bosch battery, Shimano Alfine 8-speed hub, SKS fenders, integrated lights front and rear, and a built-in basket.

We have a soft spot for pedal assist electric bikes. No longer a novelty, these bikes offer a viable alternative to people looking to get out of their car and on something that is more efficient, fun, and cost-effective. The pedal-assist motor is strong when you need it and unobtrusive when you don't. All Katu models are based around 20" wheels, which make the bike remarkably nimble, even when loaded.
