Beautiful Bicycle: Mondraker Superfoxy Carbon RR

Creating beautiful custom builds is near and dear to Contender’s heart. It is not uncommon to see a custom OPEN UP, Pinarello Dogma F, or even a SCOR 2030 roll out of the shop with intense detail, going all the way down to the valves. But did you know that we also do plenty of frame swaps?

This build started off with a customer’s old Evil and was quickly brought to new life as a Mondraker Superfoxy Carbon RR. Mondraker is known for pioneering the longer and slacker movement and is currently pushing the envelope in the world of World Cup Downhill racing.

Build Highlights

The first thing that stands out in this build is the attention to detail, with matching parts from front to back. Matching colors throughout a build can quickly become overwhelming, but this build has the perfect amount of coordinated parts. The gold I9 hubs, Chromag Scarab pedals, and valves complement the frame’s paint and Öhlins TTX 22M coil.
