Rolling Watchlist: Orbea's HOW WE ROLL Ep. 01

Written by Ezra Jefferies on January 30, 2026

With the release of the all-new Orbea Rallon RS, we’ve been spending more time digging into the people and culture behind the bike—not just the hardware. That naturally led us to Orbea’s How We Roll video series, which offers a closer look at the Orbea FMD Racing Team, the riders and engineers who played a major role in shaping how the Rallon rides and races.

Rather than focusing on numbers or marketing claims, How We Roll leans into the human side of the project: how the team trains, tests, travels, and works together at the highest level of downhill racing. It’s a good reminder that bikes like the Rallon don’t come to life in isolation—they’re refined through real-world racing, feedback, and constant iteration.

There are four episodes in the mini series but we suggest starting with Episode 1 if you want context on the team and mindset behind Orbea’s most aggressive race platform to date.

What is Rolling Watchlist

Not everything worth watching fits neatly into a product launch, race recap, or technical deep dive. Rolling Watchlist is a weekly Friday journal where we share cycling-related videos we’ve been enjoying lately—anything from race highlights and team documentaries to short films, behind-the-scenes features, or just something that caught our attention.

It’s meant to be easy viewing: something to throw on during a bit of downtime, while on the trainer, or between rides. The common thread isn’t a specific discipline or format, but content that captures the broader world of cycling beyond specs, sales pitches, and headline results.
