At the core of the Rallon RS is a deeply integrated RS ecosystem, where motor, suspension, controls, and rider inputs communicate in real time to remove compromises and elevate performance on both the climb and the descent.

• RS Intelligent System (Rider Synergy): Orbea’s proprietary control and communications platform that links the motor, central battery, suspension integration (on the RS LTD build kit only), dropper post, and handlebar remote into a single system. By allowing all components to share data and respond together, RS unlocks capabilities that simply aren’t possible in disconnected, component-by-component setups.
• Advanced Rider & Terrain Customization: Through the RS-HMI handlebar controller, riders can manage motor modes, suspension profiles, and smart behaviors without removing their hands from the bars. Multiple rider profiles and terrain-specific modes allow the bike to be tailored for downhill-focused riding, bike park laps, pedal-heavy trail days, or long enduro missions. Or, switch mid-ride as conditions change.
• TQ HPR40 Motor (RS-Tuned): A compact, lightweight, and near-silent drive unit delivering up to 200 watts of peak assistance and 40Nm of torque. Orbea’s proprietary RS tune ensures assistance never overwhelms rider input, preserving a natural pedaling feel while improving climbing flow on a long-travel chassis.
• Fox eNEO Live Valve Suspension: Electronic suspension hardware that responds in real time to RS system inputs, including impact sensors, bike angle, cadence, rider power, motor power, bike speed, and dropper post position. Orbea’s custom algorithms use this shared data to deliver more predictable, responsive suspension behavior across changing terrain.
• Smart Dropper Integration: The MC10-RS dropper post communicates its exact position multiple times per second via an optoelectronic Time-of-Flight sensor, which is an industry first. When the dropper is lowered, the system prioritizes keeping the suspension fully open to optimize downhill performance.
• On-the-Fly Suspension Control: Riders can instantly toggle between open, closed, or intelligent (Smart RS) suspension modes directly from the handlebar, without stopping or relying on a phone or Bluetooth connection.

Sizing & Build Kits

Orbea is launching the Rallon RS initially in a single, flagship LTD build, offered in a full run of sizes (S, M, L, XL) and two wheel configurations: full 29” or mullet (29” front / 27.5” rear). Both configurations use a dedicated linkage to maintain consistent geometry and handling, allowing riders to choose their preferred setup without compromise.

Like the LTD, both wheel configurations share identical geometry and handling characteristics, allowing riders to choose between either wheelset without compromise.
