SCOTT Spark

The SCOTT Spark seems as if it were designed specifically for riding in the Wasatch Range. It's now lighter, more responsive, and ready to ride as a trail bike and as an XC race mountain bike. SCOTT has refined the Spark, ironed out the kinks, and made the bike into a do-it-all downcountry bike. See our SCOTT Spark Insider’s Guide for all the big changes and advancements.

Choose the SCOTT Spark as your all-arounder mountain bike. It's light enough to keep up with your cross country bike friends, but with a bit more suspension to offer confidence when things get chunkier.

SCOTT Spark ST

The Spark ST is SCOTT's recent concoction for what a downcountry, even bordering on trail, bike should be. Boasting 140mm up front, and Scott's new TracLoc lockout system, it is set-up to be able to handle any trails. SCOTT TracLoc only locks out the rear shock, while allowing the fork to compress as normal. This is to give traction on even the gnarliest climbs, while giving the bike extra travel for the technical descents.

SCOTT reworked the size of the shock support to allow this to even run a piggy-back rear shock. The piggy-back will let you take this bike out on long descents without worry of your shock heating up and losing perfomance. The Spark ST is for those of you who want the responsiveness and the nimbleness of their cross-county bike, but be able to send anything you want. This is truly a bike designed to be good at everything.

This bike is for anyone who wants to get the performance of Spark race bike, but not lose any downhill capabilities.
