The foundation is the 01 Premium Carbon frame, delivering ultimate efficiency and instant response on climbs while keeping the bike nimble and responsive through technical sections. BMC's Race Geometry has been carefully tuned for aggressive XC racing, with a 66.5-degree head angle and extended reach that add stability and control through the steepest and loosest terrain. Despite its race-focused geometry, the frame still accommodates two full-size bottles, along with generous 62mm tire clearance for modern, high-volume tires that deliver traction without sacrificing speed.
The dark magic lies in the optimized APS suspension technology. By precisely positioning suspension pivots, BMC engineered a system that boosts efficiency and maintains traction through rough, technical terrain.
