The BMC Teammachine R 01 Three is a race focused road bike engineered to deliver uncompromising speed, efficiency, and control when every watt matters. Developed through BMC's collaboration with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, the Teammachine R represents a ground-up approach to race bike development, combining advanced aerodynamic simulation with BMC's expertise in carbon engineering and race-proven design. At the heart of the Teammachine R 01 Three is an 01 Premium Carbon frameset designed to balance low weight with exceptional stiffness and efficient power transfer. The frame's aerodynamic shapes were developed using computational fluid dynamics and extensive simulation, allowing BMC engineers to optimize airflow across the entire bike rather than focusing on individual components in isolation. Deep tube profiles, a massive bottom bracket area, and the distinctive wide-stance fork work together to manage airflow and reduce drag while maintaining the stiffness and responsiveness required for high-level racing.

The ultrawide fork legs are a defining feature of the Teammachine R, helping isolate turbulent air generated around the front wheel from the rest of the frame. This aerodynamic approach is paired with the integrated ICS Aero Gen 2 cockpit, creating a cohesive front end with a low, race-oriented position and clean cable integration. Together, these features help the bike hold speed efficiently while providing the precise handling needed when racing at full pace.

The Teammachine R is designed to climb as well as it accelerates. Its lightweight carbon construction and efficient chassis provide an immediate response under power, allowing riders to attack climbs and accelerate out of corners without the compromises traditionally associated with highly aerodynamic race bikes. Clearance for tires up to 30mm provides the opportunity to run fast, modern road tires while maintaining appropriate frame clearance.

SRAM Force AXS electronic shifting delivers fast, precise gear changes, while the integrated power meter provides riders with real-time performance data for structured training and race-day pacing. Completing the build is the CR 50 SL Carbon tubeless-ready wheelset, providing an aerodynamic and responsive foundation for maintaining speed across the course.
