The foundation of the Teammachine R 01 Two is BMC's 01 Premium Carbon layup, which strategically places stiffness where racers need it while keeping overall weight impressively low. Its aerodynamic frame shapes were developed using computational fluid dynamics and extensive simulation work with Red Bull Advanced Technologies, allowing BMC engineers to explore shapes and airflow solutions beyond conventional road bike design. The result is a distinctive frameset with deep tube profiles, a massive bottom bracket area, and an ultrawide fork designed to manage turbulent airflow around the front wheel while maintaining stiffness, stability, and precise steering.

Aerodynamics are integrated throughout the entire system rather than treated as a standalone frame feature. The low-stack ICS Aero Gen 2 cockpit works with the frame to create a streamlined front end, helping riders maintain speed with less aerodynamic resistance. At the rear, carefully shaped frame profiles contribute to efficient airflow while providing the stiffness and responsiveness necessary for hard accelerations and high-power efforts.
